Last week, Facebook become the top most visited site in US. And Google was ranked as 2nd most visited site.
According to consultancy Hitwise, social network Facebook received 7.07% of visits against 7.03% of Google. Compared with the same week last year, Facebook has grown 185% and Google, 9%.
Facebook has already had accomplished the feat on the eve and on Christmas Day and New Years, probably indicating that Internet users looking for friends in times of festivals. On the weekend of 6 and March 7, the social network was also ahead of Google.
I must say, craze of Facebook is increasing day by day. Its really amazing that, Facebook beats the record of Search Giant Google.
