Image School has announced 4th Photo Challenge competition in WEDDING theme. Image School is trying to promoting and rewarding photographers who excel in capturing the un-styled and un-scripted moments of the wedding day.

Image School proudly presents a brand new Photo Challenge which is Open for all Nepali Photographers!!
Take part in this 4th Photo Challenge (WEDDING) and get your proficiency noticed! We all love to see our own photo to get admired – Here’s Your Chance! We firmly believe everybody is capable of showing their creativity, looking beyond the obvious and capturing the moments from wedding. Image School would lead the way in promoting and rewarding photographers who excel in capturing the un-styled and un-scripted moments of the wedding day.

Submission Open: 15th Feb. 2011 - 15th April 2011
Voting on Finalist Photos: 20th April 2011 – 30th April 2011

## STRICT RULES FOR SELECTION OF PHOTO ##
-Photo must be in natural color or black n’ white.
-HDR, sepia tone, and duotone image is not eligible. Manipulation of image should be kept at a minimum (such as saturation, contrast, auto contrast, auto level, auto color). Image in which content has been eliminated, added, rearranged will not be accepted for finalist round. No border or frame may be added to image. No watermark, signature, or copyright notice may be added to image.
-The finalist photos would be selected on the basis of relevancy to the theme, Focus / Sharpness, Composition / Arrangement, Lighting, Creativity in conveying the theme “WEDDING”.
RULESAND REGULATIONS:
-Email only 1 entry to [email protected] with your name, sex and contact number. The Photo should be minimum 1200pixel by 1600 pixels.
-Make sure you include a caption with the entry
-Submitted photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Contest entrant. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, covenants and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the photograph. The photograph must not, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsors, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. Photographs deemed inappropriate will be disqualified.
- By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the Official Rules and other information that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules.
-Only the finalist/selected photos would be uploaded in "Image School-Wedding" photo gallery on 20th April 2011 for voting round. The finalists would be informed through facebook message.
-Only NRN/Out of Kathmandu Valley winner have full access to transfer their gift hampers after consulting with Image School Team.
-Anybody who's found bullying/insulting the participants is subject to be banned from Image School and further strict reports to Facebook.
-Entrants agree that the Sponsor may use each entrant's name, photograph, and likeness in any publicity relating to this Photo-Challenge or future promotions.
ABOUT VOTING ROUND:
This is a skill based contest and chance plays no part in the determination of winners.
- 3 JURY CHOICE PRIZES: Jury Members would vote best 3 photos.
- BEST FEMALE PARTICIPANT: Special Female Jury would select the best female participant among female participants.
- BEST CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPH : The artistic photo with the concept that stimulates the mind of the viewer to interpret the message conveyed through the creative use of line, form, colour and captions.
