Cybersansar.com contains Malware

What Cybersansar says?  CyberSansar suggest its user to use Internet Explorer rather than Firefox and Chrome. Displaying the message at the top of website, CyberSansar says “Browse Cybersansar.com with Internet Explorer for a while to avoid faulty malware notification displayed by Mozilla Firefox & Google Chrome browsers. There is no risk in browsing our site with any browser. We will inform once the faulty notification is fixed”.

Though Cybersansar says, those are faulty notifications and doesn't harm your computer. But, those are not faulty messages and problem will not solve by using Internet Explorer. If you use Internet Explorer you may not see notifications, but malware will be downloaded in your computer, and can harm your computer. Because threat is real.

Nepal’s top entertainment portal, cybersansar.com might harm your computer. As Google suggest, The website at www.cybersansar.com appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that hosts malware can infect your computer.But when we dig inside we have found that, in fact another site called ‘googlestats.in’  seems to host such malware. And cybersansar.com is linked with ‘googlestats.in’.  Google warns not to open the page cybersansar.com by saying ‘The website at www.cybersansar.com contains elements from the site googlesstats.in, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.’Not only cybersansar.com but also cybernepal.com.np, and other 17 websites contains malware this time.Also some other sites hosted in ‘WLINK server’ were infected. Though cybersansar was infected by malware but, Cybersansar Team has not mentioned anything about this incident in their sister websites.
